Myvi LE!

Oh my... I think this Myvi Limited Edition should be the last edition for Myvi (a replacement for Myvi should be launched next year).

Haha! Myvi comes in a new colour called Dazzling Red as shown in the picture above! Clearly targeted at female drivers...
Since lady driver would appreciate a vanity mirror, Perodua installed it on the driver side.

According to Paultan:
The LE has new trim colour and fabric, door inner handles, an “LE” carpet mat, and decorative cubic printing on both the centre cluster and the door trim armrests. There’s also dual airbags for the people at the front. The radio has USB and Bluetooth connectivity. On the outside, Perodua has fitted the Myvi LE with smoked clear rear combination lamps, “LE” badging and side door moldings.

Treat it as an additional accessory package to fit onto the 1.3 Standard Automatic model, since the LE is a RM1,700 premium over the 1.3 Standard AT. It’s priced at RM48,600 for metallic paint colours and priced RM500 cheaper for the solid colours.

I love the seats pattern but not the flower pattern centre dashboard! xD

Review of Frozen (film)

Frozen is a thriller film, but looks like it turned out to be not so thrilled after all...

Spoiler (or should i say the whole movie's story?):

A group of 3 went for skiing... blah blah blah (chats among the characters)...

From left, Parker, Dan and Lynch

After a break, they decided to go for a last round near nighttime. The operator of the chairlift eventually let them go for their last round after they begged him. Unfortunately, they swapped operators and off the chairlift, thinking tat everyone was cleared from the skiing range.

Since they were stranded on the chairlift, they tried few ways to get help. There was jumping off the chairlift, climbing via the cabel etc... There were werewolves involved too ^^

In the end, only the girl make it. (That's all about the movie!)

All the nice part in the movie is in the trailer and you'll understand the whole story after watching it! Other than what the trailer shown were just plain chats ~.~
Don't waste your time and money in the cinema for this movie :(

Usher @ Pavilion!

Went window shopping with a fren of mine in Pavilion, KL this afternoon and saw a commotion.
Everyone was grouping and staring into a shop with DSLR and digital camera in hand.

Weird enough, the main door was closed but the employees inside were serving some customers! Then, I heard someone beside me said "it's Usher!".
I took a glance into the shop and it was indeed Usher!!!

Usher in white t-shirt with his burly bodyguard beside him!

He discovered the crowd outside the shop, so he turned around and waved at us! Woohoo!
Looks like I don't have to go to his concert tomorrow at Bukit Jalil to see him ^^

2011 Volvo V60!

My fav. manufacturer is back with Volvo V60! It's basically a wagon version of Volvo S60 and to me, V60 is one of the sexiest, best looking wagon around!

Well, this is a Volvo, so it will have a lot of safety features including the new Corner Traction Control, City Safe and Pedestrian Protection with full auto brake to avoid from colliding with pedestrian under 35km/h. No need to mention more :)

Children safety seats above...

Huge buttboot!

Rear styling cues from Volvo XC60!

Hopefully Volvo Malaysia will bring Volvo S60 and V60 here together and price it more affordable compared to its competitors like Audi A4 and BMW 3-Series!

Take a look at V60's video! It's so sleek and sporty!

Retirement Age at 60?

Saw this news in TheStar Online this morning:

SEREMBAN: The retirement age for the country’s more than one million civil servants may be increased to 60 as early as next year.

It is learnt Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is expected to make an announcement on the matter in September, when he tables the Budget, sources said.

It is learnt the move will also cover employees in statutory bodies such as the Employees Provident Fund and Social Security Organisation.

“Malaysia has the lowest retirement age in the region. We cannot allow our experienced employees to leave when they can contribute a lot more to the nation,” said one of the sources.

He added that since pension payment was now calculated based on 30 years of service, many civil servants would want to retire later so that they would have more money for their post-retirement years. The retirement age for civil servants in Thailand and Indonesia is 60, while it is 62 in Singapore.

Another source, however, said the Government was not likely to make the retirement age compulsory, allowing those who wished to retire at 56 or 58 to do so. In 2001, former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had said the retirement age for civil servants would eventually be raised to 60 years.

The retirement age for government employees was increased from 55 to 56 in 2001.

This was increased to 58 in March 2008 during the premiership of Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

When contacted, Cuepacs president Omar Osman said the congress had submitted a memorandum to the Government in 1998 and again during Abdullah’s tenure to revise the retirement age to 60.

“It was, however, only raised to 58. We hope the Government will increase it to 60 as we need experienced employees to help achieve the Government’s agenda for progress,” he said.

He added it was a fact that many public sector employees married later in life and still had young children even when they had reached 58.

“I have friends who are in their 50s but whose children are still in primary schools. These group of people are an asset to the nation and it will be a win-win situation if the retirement age is raised,” he added.

Personally I think it's a good move by the government to raised the retirement age of the civil servants to 60 years old.

Person like my father who is going reach his retirement age but have to raise his kid who is still in primary school and pay for house installment.

Talking about working, I need a job! Any vacancies in Setapak area? Prefer data entry, clerk, promoter (not roving team) etc. JobSeeker is not helping!

Sad toy Story...

This time around, Toy Story 3 is a love sad story. They were not as happy as they seem in the picture above :(

The story starts with Andy going to college and decided to keep his 'abandoned' toys in the attic. However, some misunderstanding happened and his mom thrown all the toys away!

Who to bring to college? Buzz? or Woody?

The toys ended up in a daycare centre and met the person who 'runs' the place, the strawberry-flavoured Lotso-hugging Bear!

What a cute looking bear, isn't it? Well, he's the main antagonist here! He's convinced tat toy owners will never care about their toys and treated other toys badly.

There were a lot of new characters/toys introduced in this sequel, including Ken! He was so gay looking...

They were madly in love!

In the end, the toys escaped from the daycare centre and were donated by Andy to a little girl. The ending scene was so sad, it reminds me of my life...

Makes me wonder whether my previously owned toys which are now owned by my younger brother miss me or not. Haha!

A great sequel by Pixar!

Garfield --> Spiderman???

Goodbye Tobey Maguire and say hello to Andrew Garfield!
This 26 years old actor who is known for his role in 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' will play the role of Spiderman in the upcoming 2012 'Spiderman reboot' movie!

One good looking Spiderman!

Say goodbye to your power, Tobey!

Andrew certainly is better looking than Tobey, isn't it?
However, acting skill is the most important thing!
Hopefully Andrew will play the role of Spiderman much more better than Tobey!

A woman's man...

EVOque!!!

Land Rover had released a picture of their newest car, the Range Rover Evoque! (sounded like Mitsubishi Evo!) This Evoque is a 3-door SUV with a very sporty design! It will be the smallest, lightest and most fuel efficient Land Rover too!

Range Rover Evoque stays true to its concept's design, the LRX:

Not much different than Evoque, isn't it?

Review of The Legend Is Born: Ip Man

Went to Wangsa Walk on my birthday night to watch 'The Legend Is Born: Ip Man' with frens! Most of the people dunno how to pronounce the movie's name, and mispronounced it as 'I.P. Man' instead of 'yip mun', including the movie ticket seller!

If u watched Ip Man and Ip Man 2, this movie shows Ip Man's younger life. It features romance, training and even studying aboard! This version of Ip Man know how to read and speak English while the previous 2 movies doesn't!

Overall, the feeling just doesn't feel right. The Ip Man's actor in this movie is not as good in fighting as Donnie Yen, Sammo Hung's scene was WAY too short and the last antagonist dies too fast!

18 going on 19!

I'm officially 19 today! No more forever 18... Which kinda sad :(

19 years passed by swiftly. From the day my mom gave birth to me until now, a lot of stuff had happened. I'm glad I'm a human ^^

Recently I had met all my primary school's frens back in Facebook after 8 years of lost contact! I had 5 interesting years in my primary school period!

On the way to adolescent, I went to secondary school in Puchong and also met a bunch of great frens! 5 years again...

I've spent 2 years in college, experienced life without staying with parents... These 2 years had been filled with all sorts of feeling such as fun, sad and disappointment...

Today, I've exactly existed in this world for 19 years! Walking towards uncertainties... (lol! jfook's blog name)
