Adam Lambert live in Malaysia, October !!!

Guess what??!! After the arrival of David Archuleta, Kris Allen and Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert is coming to Malaysia on October!


The 1st runner up of 2009 American Idol is famous for his distinctive style and outstanding singing abilities.
His well-known singles include 'Time For Miracles', 'For Your Entertaiment' and his newest single 'Whataya Want From Me' & 'If I Had You'.
I love to sing 'Time For Miracles' with my friends in karaoke session where we sing/shout out heart out!!!

Here are some details on Adam Lambert's Glam Nation Tour live in Malaysia show:

Date and time: 14 October, 8pm

Venue: Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil

Tickets:RM103, RM153, RM203 and RM253 for numbered seats; and RM193 for Rock Zone (free standing) and RM298 for The Pitt (free standing). All tickets are inclusive of RM3 for ticketing fees. Tickets will go on sale on 11 September.

You can expect a stellar performance from him!

Lancer based Proton P390A (Waja) !!!

The next generation of Proton Waja codenamed Proton P390A was previewed in local news Buletin Utama. The P390A, which is based on Mitsubishi Lancer will be launched in December 2010.


According to the news, Proton 'injected' some DNA of Proton and Lotus into this new Waja. I can see that the bumper look amazing, although a bit disappointed that Proton did only a minor job on the changes of the exterior design.

According to the news (in Malay language), Proton will be offering automatic and manual transmission along with 2 variants of engine, 1.8cc and 2.0cc. Proton promised that the price of the new Waja will remain 'competitive', albeit the fact that they are reluctant to announce it.

Kids Colouring Contest @ Sri Rampai

In conjunction of Merdeka Day, Hong Leong Bank and U C MAS held a kids colouring competition at Hong Leong Bank's Sri Rampai branch.


As an employee of U C MAS, i was asked whether I'm willing to help out on that day... and I agreed (on a public holiday!!).

I don't care much about the standard triple pay if we work on public holiday (cos this consider as a volunteer work) but I can claim my taxi fares and lunch from the company! So, deal!

The contest starts at 9.30am for kids below 7 years old...


Then 11am for kids age from above 7 years old to 11 years old...

Then finally the prize giving ceremony at the end of the contest! Some kids were very talented in colouring (or maybe it's because they got attend art class) and their artworks were quite impressive!


After the contest ended, me and a colleague of mine went to On The Run to have our lunch :) It's not always we get to eat free lunch! Tweet

Which Used Car To Buy?

My father drives his company's car and had never bought any car except his first car about 20++ years ago. Near to his retirement age, he wanted to buy a used car next year, with a budget of around RM30k.

As a car enthusiast, yours truly is certainly excited! Finally we can have our own car! However, with limited budget, we are down with few choices:

I was thinking to get a big sedan like Toyota Camry or Honda Accord which is selling around RM40k (a bit over budget for a bigger car xD). However, my father said their engine too big (2.0cc), road tax and fuel will be expensive.

So next up, Honda City. Yours truly is also a safety-conscious person. I was hoping to get a car with airbags and ABS, and Honda City ticked every box from comfort to practicality. However, a 2001 model of City still cost above RM45k...

Possibility: Maybe


How about this generation of Honda City? It would be great if we can get the post-facelift version of this City, which look more stylish. Priced from RM20k to RM30k, it will be cheap to run too. However, the cabin look cramp...

What about Toyota Corolla? Too boring looking, I don't like it. But I heard that this generation of Corolla is reliable and comfortable, not to mention it has airbags too. Pricing is also in our range of budget.

Here comes my favorite! Honda Civic.
NO!!! We can't afford the newest generation of Civic!
But maybe this one:

Perhaps this generation of Civic is the best for us. It has a decent cabin, good handling and comfort and priced comfortably in our budget range. However, it looks dated...

Taylor Swift is MINE !!!

Taylor Swift is mine! Or hope she will be XD This beautiful girl had released her first single 'Mine' off her third album 'Speak Now'!


Although I'm not a huge fan of her, but I got to admit, she has something which attract everyone to listen to her music apart from her glamorous look.

Her soothing voice combine with some smart lyrics like "You made a rebel of a careless man, careful daughter" will make this song a hit! However, 'Mine' still sound like a typical Taylor Swift song, hope she can diversify more in the future.
