Car Recondition - Official Start of Ownership!

Once there's a wise car enthusiast - Mr. Har said "Owning a used car is like walking through a battlefield between two sides, not knowing when and where a bullet will hit you." Specially old used car, problem might appear without warning because you won't be able to find out what problem it has before your ownership.

By following Mr. Har's advice, I took my recently bought used car to have a thorough check-up in a workshop nearby. Like what I've suspected, all four suspension and engine mounting were in bad condition and has to be replaced.

Spot the new shock absorbers? *the cleanest part*

You can either opt for the more expensive genuine spare parts or cheaper counterfeit parts, but no doubt genuine spare parts can last longer and more compatible with your car performance compared to the latter.

Lastly, Mr. Har advised that drivers should do scheduled service or check-up to prolong the longevity of the car's mechanical parts! Go service your car on time ya!

2012 BMW 1-Series debuts!

BMW has done it again, in designing an awkward looking front end I mean. After they gave the 2012 BMW X3 a bland looking front end, the all-new BMW 1-Series hatchback went one step higher by having weird (and offensive) design in every angle. Ugliest BMW to date!


While the outgoing 1-Series is not a looker, the new 1-Series will make heads turn - away from the car. I wouldn't call the headlight of the 1-Series sporty or elegant, and the front end is just plain disproportionate! It just look like a plastic surgery gone wrong...


While nothing is offensive at the rear end, the 1-Series' taillights resemblance of Volkswagen Polo's!


BMW must be thinking that it can create a better looking interior by adding more chrome trims across the cabin. BMWs' cabin always look dull and similar with other BMW models.

It has engine that develops 136bhp in the 116i and 170bhp in the 118i. There's a line of diesel engine to choose from too, they deliver 116bhp in the 116d, 143bhp in the 118d and 184bhp in the 120d.


Looking at the front end again intimidates me! Take it out of my sight please!

Cupcakes for Everyone !!!

Beautiful (and tasty) cupcakes from children to teachers with love :) Children in UC Kindies were having a combination of Teachers' and Children's Day and there were so MANY mini cupcakes brought by the children!


Spotted a child who couldn't resist the colourful cupcakes!


Every child has their own party bag which was filled with a myriad of candies and chocolates!

Happy Children's Day, and of course, Happy Teachers' Day! I found a meaningful quote: "Teacher is like a candle, it consumes itself to light the way for others".
