Vios bashers will no longer get to criticise its design anymore because the next generation Vios has evolved from a dugong to a handsome seal (sorry, can't think of an appropriate animal to describe the new design yet). The exterior looks upmarket and doesn't look like a hatchback-based sedan at all. The new sharp styling will face off with Honda City, making the competitive B-segment market even more tougher!
Next up is the next generation Toyota Corolla, also known as Altis in our country. Toyota has started to be more adventurous in designing cars to attract younger buyers as well as those who prefer better looking car. The all-new Corolla's design is fresh and contemporary, but still it's slightly on the conservative side. Nevertheless, it's a commendable effort.
Clean lines, daytime running LEDs, chromed window line which kicks up at the end and Avalon-inspired rear end with a tad resemblance of Hyundai Elantra. The wheels might not be as attractive as some oversized bling bling wheels on certain Korean cars, but then buyers of Corolla would prefer the Corolla to be low in running cost, as larger wheel will incur high cost.
There are no details released regarding both cars' engine options, dimension or features. We'll just have to wait for more, hopefully good news, to give the Korean cars a run for their money!
